About the Authors

Hi There!

As many of you know, we are a family of 5 from Seattle, Washington taking a six month journey to see and learn more about the world.  We are excited to share our adventures, good times, and mishaps with anybody willing to take the time to read this.  We are not the most prolific writers, so don’t bother checking back more than once a week.  We love comments, if for no other reason than to let us know somebody is reading.

Cheers!

Romi, Caleb, Noah, Sue, and Max

Don’t write if it gets in the way of enjoying the experience! Look forward to hearing stories.

    Hi all-

Loved reading these. I am part of a family of 4 in Seattle, Washington and I want to be you guys when I grow up. I have 2 kids (ages 3 and 6 months) and so it will be a while before we all head to Africa together but the trip looks amazing. I lived in Tanzania for two years (no kids then!) and I loved my experience in East Africa.

Congrats and thanks for the beautiful blog posts. Will be in touch! (Tom forwarded me your blog)

    Best,
    Bonnie Lathram
